I was never a huge fan of Valentine’s Day… and I still think it’s kinda a funny holiday. Shouldn’t we treat our loved ones like it’s V-Day every day? Anyway, while I was never a huge fan - there are still a bunch of lovely memories attached to this Hallmark Holiday. I think my favorite Valentine’s Memory goes back to all of the cute and cheesy gifts my dad gave me every single year. Even when I was away at college, the one care package I received from him each year was full of little valentine chocolates and knick-knacks.
I also recently found this cute card that I had given my grandfather when I was five years old… so cute right? (It was from my TMNT phase…)
I’m spending today with my husband and furbabes, watching lots of netflix and relaxing. Quite frankly, it’s exactly the lazy day that I needed!
