Remember that time last month that I made everyone think I was pregnant, but I was actually just talking about being four weeks along in building our new house?? Yeah… On top of the craziness of building, I am also puking multiple times a day, growing at a rate that is completely new to me and trying to mentally grasp how blessed we truly are.
My little family is “Under Construction”! This is not a joke: Baby G (aka “Magotes” - as in Totes Magotes) is due April Fools Day 2016!

I would be lying if I said I am one of those girls who loves being pregnant and is on top of the world about the entire thing. At this point I have been wayyyyyy too sick to begin the “OMG I’M GOING TO BE A MOTHER” phase. The morning sickness (which, if you have never been pregnant before, it is complete false advertising… this crap lasts ALL.DAY.LONG!) is terrible. It got so bad that my doctor had to put me on that same pill that Kim Kardashian illegally endorsed. It has helped a bit, as I am now a functioning human. But in order for me to avoid the vomit I must eat every hour and a half. Which has been an issue all in itself - hello ten pounds in just a few weeks!

I think once the morning sickness passes (fingers crossed it will be any day now…) and now that we feel comfortable to start telling folks about this huge, crazy, over-the-moon, life changing experience - the excitement will begin to set in. However, I honestly think, that until this kid is 18 years old, this entire thing will still be completely surreal to me.

More details to come, of course! Like how morning sickness has forced me back to non-paleo ways and how my body hates it. And how crazy/entertaining/ridiculous it is to be 31, married, pregnant and living with your 91 year old grandmother. Or maybe about how I found out about our impending bundle shortly after I passed out at a wedding rehearsal, while my hubby was away for seven weeks this summer…. Yeah - this is why my blog has been lacking friends. Please bare with me and pray for us!

Many thanks to the friends and family who have kept this secret and have been praying for us for the last couple of months. Your support and unconditional love (especially when I’m an absolute bear) mean the world to us. Photo credit goes to my wonderful sister of Leslie Benjaminson Photography. (She has a great holiday special going on right now if you’re local! Mention that I sent ya!)
