I’ve said it once and I will say it a thousand times… while I love sharing recipes and projects and events covered in glitter with you oh so much, I really love the community that Blogland builds. I work from home running a few of my own businesses so I do not have any co-workers per se. {Don’t tell the cat - he thinks he is the CEO.} So when I have the chance to meet amazing new bloggers who become fast friends my heart gets a little giddy.
And boy are you in luck today… because I have some wonderful co-workers blog friends to share with you! I have asked both of them to share the top three things that they think you should know about them. With that… Meet my sponsors:
Meet Liz.
I absolutely adore this girl. Seriously, I do not think I have ever met a nicer human being that Liz. I have had the privilege to not only meet her in real life - but to be her wedding planner! I was shocked when she said she found me via Twitter! It wasn’t until the week of her wedding when I realized that she was the same Liz that runs the Virginia Bloggers group. Small world right?! Here’s a few fun facts about this lovely gal…
- I love spending my free time in the kitchen, making up new healthy recipes. (Obviously, I’m obsessed with kale salad.)
- My husband and I got married last year, and we were only engaged for 5 months. Thankfully, Susan was our wedding coordinator, so we were in good hands!
- I love blogging so much, I started Virginia Bloggers so I could connect with other bloggers near by!
You can head on over and say hello to Liz at her blog I Heart Vegetables.
Meet Samantha.
You know that moment when you are reading someone’s blog and they just strike you as someone you could be best friends with? That’s exactly what happened when I “met” Samantha this past year. After skimming through one or two of her blog posts I knew we would become blogging BFFs. Turns out, we have so much in common, that she even runs her own wedding planning business as well! She blogs about her life, her love (she is a newlywed also!) and of course gorgeous weddings. Here are a few things you should know about Samantha…
- I recently got married to my best friend & favorite person in this world, JC. We met at a wedding and have been together for 5 years.
- While planning my wedding, I realized how much I enjoyed every bit of it and started my own wedding planning business, Best Day Ever Events, after my wedding venue offered to put me on their preferred vendor list. I just launched everything last month, after I booked my first bride!
- I am obsessed with the color mint. It was all over my wedding, it’s all over my blog and it’s all over my wardrobe.

It is so cool when you actually meet bloggers you admire face to face and they are just as cool as they seem on the net! Great pics!

I know! I haven’t had the chance to meet too many bloggers in person - but when I have - they are always just as awesome in person as they are in blogland! 🙂
I love the way you worded this.. It is so true that other bloggers are pretty much our co-workers. 🙂 I never really thought of it that way. But I really do love the community on the blogosphere.

I think the community of blogland is what keeps me coming back. Y’all are awesome. 🙂
Thanks for introducing us to these lovely blogger ladies! 🙂
And I feel you- our fellow bloggers really are like co-workers, in a sense.
Happy Thursday!

It is so nice for you to be able to meet new friends this way. Life can get kind of lonely without friends to share with. I am very happy for you
What a cool post. It is so rare that women talk about other women with such kindness and support. I love that you all found each other…although I am not surprised. Like minded people tend to attract others. 🙂
